That’s the Avison Young ethos, and I’m happy to be one of those people. I joined AY in 2022 to lead integrated marketing strategies for our teams in North America—that means I set the vision and roadmap for campaigns and content, to align local and global business goals through programmatic storytelling. I develop and oversee digital marketing channels to elevate research and thought leadership from throughout all of our regions, services and sectors.

2021 - 2022
SoLa Impact is a vertically integrated real estate investment fund focused on affordable housing solutions in Southern California. The need for affordable housing in Los Angeles and across the United States continues to be of utmost importance. It’s a complex challenge that SoLa is tackling by using innovative strategies for raising and deploying capital.
As the first marketing hire for a rapidly growing organization, I developed a foundational marketing and communications strategy to increase awareness and visibility of SoLa Impact, its affiliate nonprofit, the SoLa I CAN Foundation, and its business campus The Beehive. During my time at SoLa, I helped to add organizational structure through implementation of strategic marketing operations and processes. I also focused on strengthening brand reputation through public relations, thought leadership and executive speaking engagements on behalf of the CEO, investor relations, awards and other recognition opportunities.
During my time at SoLa, I was proud to be part of the launch of the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center, where the team is creating life-changing opportunities for young people in South Los Angeles to learn about pathways into tech, esports, entertainment careers.

2017 - 2021
As Senior Integrated Marketing Manager at JLL, focused on driving and developing scalable strategies to achieve brokerage business objectives through cross-collaboration, technology implementation, and facilitation of process improvements. I conceptualized data-driven campaigns for various audience segments, oversee creative direction and production of marketing collateral, and build valuable relationships with key stakeholders. I acted as a conduit bringing together research, digital, events, communications, demand generation and business development to strategically solve challenges and lead industry-best practices nationwide.
During my time at JLL, I volunteered as the Americas marketing and communications lead for the Women’s Business Network with a mission to empower a culture of gender partnership through driving diversity and inclusion initiatives that attract, develop and retain the best women in the industry while promoting equality. I partnered with our national co-leads to oversee diversity and inclusion communications best practices to approximately 10,000 women, with 28 chapters across North America. I led a team of 3 to implement scalable and templated resources, manage creative projects, event materials and promotions.

2015 - 2017
As anyone who has worked for a small organization, startup, or non-profit likely knows, it involves wearing a lot of hats. For my role at Visit Saint Paul, this juggling act allowed an exploration of various avenues of interest. I’d happily go from presenting at a meeting with 50 partners to organizing production of a marketing video, to diving deep into website experience and finding new ways to collect data from users. For our partnership base, I managed communications to attract and retain while developing programming and valuable opportunities for engagement. I also led an internal committee in an effort to build overall workplace wellness and culture.
I completed Leadership Saint Paul in 2016; it's an intensive 10-month leadership development program focusing on the challenges and opportunities a community faces including education, health and wellness, government, communications, arts and culture, economic development and more.
2014 - 2015
After being closed for decades, Union Depot was renovated to its original splendor and reopened to the public as a functioning multi-modal transit hub and event venue. Some call it the "Grand Central Station of Minnesota". I hit the ground running with the JLL property management team as we formed processes and strategies for the station. My projects included starting and growing social media accounts, creating email marketing efforts, developing signature events for the community, and acting as a liaison with graphic design, public relations and media partners.
While working at Union Depot, I also finished a Bachelor's degree in marketing at Rasmussen College.
Previously
My past experience includes event operations and brand activations at the Mall of America (the largest mall in the United States), print production and account management in Auckland, New Zealand, and product development assisting for a cosmetics company in Los Angeles. I've also spent time volunteering within my community and on organic farms in New Zealand (read more about my nonprofit work).
During my time in New Zealand, I also completed an Associates degree in digital design at Rasmussen College online.
