Court Appointed Special Advocate
I am a CASA working on a case in Los Angeles County. A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a trained, dedicated volunteer assigned to work one-on-one with a child in the foster care system, sworn in by a dependency court judge to investigate a child’s circumstances to make recommendations to the court regarding how the system and community can best support the child. A CASA is instrumental in advocating for the material, educational, and physical and mental health services necessary for each child to flourish. Learn more about CASA.
service project team lead
Organized clothing drive for Arc's Value Village by partnering with nine residential buildings and encouraging tenants to donate. In one week, collected over 6,000 pounds of donated items. Built relationships with potential retail donors and created a downloadable toolkit for future drive leaders including checklists, flyer templates, social media images, and content for promotion.
women’s equity at work
National communications lead for JLL’s Women’s Business Network, working to promote gender equality in the workplace and beyond through facilitated connectivity, growth, and philanthropy. I was focused on attracting and retaining a diverse workforce while opening doors for transparency and positively impacting our community. I partnered with national co-leads to oversee diversity and inclusion strategy around communications, event production, and overall best practices with an audience of approximately 10,000 women, with 28 chapters across North America.
Volunteer Tutor
Tutored second graders at East Side Learning Center in Saint Paul, MN, to improve reading and writing abilities through utilization of prepared lesson plans and games. This is a crucial age for many students to be engaged, especially those that are still learning English.

Sat on the steering committee for this important initiative which sought to welcome new locals to the Twin Cities area and assist in creating partnerships within the area through marketing, events, content and education meant to spark deeper connection for individuals to their community.
fundraiser
Individually fundraised for the Midwest Chapter of the MS Society and participated in the MS Challenge Walk, going 50 miles in 3 days to raise awareness and funding for MS treatment and prevention.

Established an internal employee wellness and community outreach committee at Visit Saint Paul to seek continuous improvement in organizational culture regarding office communications, employee mental & physical well-being, volunteering opportunities, and motivation. Served on the events and communications committees for the Young Professionals chapter of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce. Producing monthly programming to create networking and development opportunities.
